BASIC PHOTOSHOP and DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY for Beginners

6 sessions designed to introduce basic lessons of Photoshop and Digital Photography techniques
1 ½ hours per session
Participant’s Requirements:
- Laptop
o Windows version, include a system based on an Intel Pentium 4
o Intel Centrino, Intel Xeon or Intel Core Duo or compatible processor running Microsoft Windows SP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate or Enterprise (certified for 32-bit editions)
o The system also needs to have at least 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of available hard disk space
- Mouse
- Digital Camera that has at least 3mp
- Flash disk that has at least 1gb memory
- Adobe Photoshop CS3 must be installed already before 1st day of session
Course Outline:
Session 1: Introduction to Working with Images
On this session will be discussing What Photoshop Can Do. Working with the images such as basic layer effects, blending options, image techniques will be discussed.
Session 2: Basic Color Correction
Participants will discover how to adjust and correct color and variations, discover how to modify and specify the Hue and Saturation and Brightness and Contrast, Resizing, navigating and transforming image and resolutions.
Session 3: Image Enhancement for Old Photos
Participants will discover touching up or repair old images, getting rid of the dust and scratches of the photos, blurring and averaging photos.
Session 4: Skin and Face Image Healing
Participants will discover touching up digital images such as reducing or removing wrinkles.
Session 5: Getting to know Brush, Brush palette and Textures
Participants will identify brush functionalities such as Painting and Retouching and discover different kinds of textures.
Session 6: High Bit Depth and Exposure
Participants will discover bit depth, getting ready to merge images, performing an HDR Exposure, adjusting the Exposure in an HDR Image.
